Recall Petitions Considered in Wisconsin
Two exploratory committees have been formed to recall 2 absent Democratic state senators. The recall effort would require that the committees collect over 15,000 to 20,000 signatures, according to the organizers, which they say won't be a problem. "I've been bombarded by phone calls from people asking what we can do," Simac [a small business owner] says. "Everybody is really angry. We want to let our Senator know that he needs to be so kind as to come back to work.
