12 Civilians Killed in Afghanistan
[Tolo News] At least 12 non-combatants were killed on Sunday in a roadside kaboom blast in eastern Paktika
...which coincidentally borders South Wazoo...
province, local officials said.
The incident happened in Paktika near Pakistain border when a roadside kaboom struck a passenger truck in the area, Mukhlis Afghan, a front man for governor of Paktika told TOLOnews.
Twelve non-combatants were killed including five children, two women and five others were maimed in the incident, he added.
Improvised Explosive Devices are used to attack foreign and Afghan forces in the country.
Paktika has been a hotbed of bad boy activity recently.
On Saturday the Afghan Women Network said that child casualties in military raids and incidents of children being used by beturbanned goons in the war have increased substantially.
Efforts being made by institutions responsible to improve Afghan children's situation and stop beturbanned goons from using them in suicide kabooms haven't been effective.
Afghan Women Network urged the government to increase efforts to prevent beturbanned goons using kids in their attacks and put pressure on foreign troops to avoid child deaths in their attacks.
