Three Protesters Wounded in Aden
[Yemen Post] At least three anti-government protesters were maimed, one of them at death's door, on Friday in Yemen's southern port city of Aden during an attempt by Yemen's security forces to disperse protesters demanding the fall of President President-for-Life Ali Abdullah Saleh's regime. Eyewitnesses said that thousands of anti-government protesters erupted into the streets in Al-Mansora district after Friday's prayer chanting anti-Saleh slogans when police forces used tear gas and batons to disperse them.Posted by: Fred 2011-03-12 |
