Keeping Even More Bad Guys Off Airplanes
Summary: Article and radio story this morning claims US has blocked 350 possible bad guys since the failed Christmas bombing by stopping another level of suspect. I counted three levels:1. Visa revoked - that could be a clue. 2. On the terrorist watch list, which is where they've recently expanded the refusal. Watch list might include money men, trainers, HAMAS members, etc. as opposed to splodydope hopefuls. So we are bragging we've stopped 350 possible bag men, so we should feel safer. 3. The no-fly list, which seems to be a combo of the terrorist watch list and "considered a threat to aviation". Now - how do they decide who is a threat to aviation? Maybe TSA is up for budget renewal.
