Toe tag for 5 members of the Avdorkhanov gang
Five members of Akhmed Avdorkhanov gang were killed in the vicinity of Alleroi and Tsentoroi, Chechnyaâs Kurchaloi district. The gang leader, Avdorkhanov, who is a close associate of Aslan Maskhadov, is seriously hurt, a source in the regional headquarters for the anti-terrorist campaign in the North Caucasus told Itar-Tass on Sunday. Up to 50 members of Avdorkhanov gang attacked guards of Alleroi and Tsentoroi in the small hours of Saturday. One staff member of the Chechen presidential guard service was killed and four were wounded in the clash. The rebelsâ attempt to attack head of the presidential guard service Ramzan Kadyrov failed and they ran away.
