How the US tracked couriers to elaborate bin Laden compound
First a name, then an extraordinary house with high walls and no telephone or Internet. Bin Laden and a son are among five killed in a firefight.
Video from MS-NBC, no less. Apparently some of the Gitmo detainees provided key information that identified a courier. Once our intel people knew who the courier was they could track him, and once they saw where he was going with some frequency they had a lead on Binnie.
Excellent work. Proves the value of Gitmo. Good thing we didn't close it. |
