Opposition to Meet Russian Delegation as Crisis Deepens in Yemen
[Yemen Post] The opposition bloc, the Joint Meeting Parties, meets later today a Russian delegation in Yemen's capital Sana'a as the political crisis deepens, an official said. The delegation is visiting Yemen within the European efforts to help tackle the three-month political crisis in the country. The meeting will be held in the Russian embassy. The EU has recently expressed concerns about the situation in Yemen as the GCC West-backed effort seemed unsuccessful. The GCC member states offered an initiative to tackle the Yemeni crisis that was officially accepted by the government and the opposition, but no final agreement on Saleh's ouster was reached after several meetings in Yemen and the Arabian Gulf.
