Al Qaeda confirms Bin Laden's death, threatens US
Al-Qaeda has confirmed the death of Osama bin Laden and threatened to carry out a retaliatory attack against the U.S "soon"."We shall have Dire RevengeĀ!" Bin Laden's blood "is too valuable to us and to every Muslim to let it go in vain," said a statement dated May 3 and attributed to al-Qaeda. It was posted on websites that have carried confirmed jihadi statements in the past. "We will continue to hunt the Americans and their operatives inside and outside their country.
