Kerry Calls For Rummyâs Resignation
There have been more calls for Mr Rumsfeldâs resignation from senior Democrat figures. On the campaign trail in California, presumptive Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry said he had called on Mr Rumsfeld to quit "months ago" because of miscalculations on Iraq. Mr Kerry said the abuse scandal only "compounds" the evidence for him to step down. "I think he should have and I think he should have now," Mr Kerry said, according to Reuters news agency.
Hannity exposed the hypocrisy well: Kerry-- who admitted to personally engaging in atrocities in VietNam-- now says as part of his campaign to be commander in chief that Rumsfeld is not qualified to be SecDef because much less egregious atrocities occurred on his watch. Huh?
