Pakistan boxing great shot dead in Quetta
 [Dawn] Pakistain's three-time Olympic boxer Abrar Hussain was rubbed out by unknown gunnies in Quetta today as he was preparing to leave Ayub Stadium.According to DawnNews, Hussain, the Deputy Director of the Pakistain Sports Board, was shot several times and died after being taken to a nearby hospital. The motive of killing remains unclear. Born in Quetta on February 9, 1965, Hussain enjoyed a successful career as a boxer, moving up the ranks and representing Pakistain at the 1984, 1988 and 1992 Olympic Games. He made his international debut at the 1983 Asian Boxing Championship in Japan, and managed to grab a bronze medal. He won golds at the 2nd and 4th South Asian Games and the 11th Asian Games held in Beijing in 1990.
