Tater tries it on in Basra
Hundreds of Iraqi militiamen loyal to radical Shia cleric Moqtada Sadr have clashed with British troops in the southern city of Basra. Members of Mr Sadrâs Mehdi Army militia attacked British patrols in various parts of the city, witnesses said. Gunmen tried to storm the governorâs building but were repelled by British reinforcements, according to reports.
