More than 60 terrorists escape in Yemeni jailbreak
 More than 60 suspected al-Qaeda They attacked a guard with daggers, seized his gun and fired it as they escaped. One guard was killed, and another was wounded. Bands of gunmen attacked the prison from the outside as the prisoners were escaping. According to an anonymous official, 57 of the 62 escaped militants were convicted terrorists, and some had been sentenced to death. Twelve of them were from a notorious al-Qaeda cell known as the Tarim cell. The jailbreak occured in Mukalla, a port in the southeastern province of Hadramut, which borders Saudi Arabia.
