Schoolteacher gunned down in southern Thailand
An Islamic school teacher was murdered in a drive-by shooting by suspected Prayat was heading to work at the school when he was followed by two men on another motorcycle. The pillion rider shot him twice in the head and they fled the scene. The shooting took place about 100m from the school.Prayat was taken to a local hospital and underwent immediate surgery.
