NYT's Paul Krugman welcomes new alien overlords--to stimulate the economy!
Greg Pollowitz, National Review Media BlogNo, really. He uses as an example a pending alien invasion, and all of the government spending that would be needed to counter the threat. The kicker: If the threat doesnt materialize, all of the wasted money on the alien invasion will somehow be good for the economy. So Bushs borrowing to fight wars in Iraq and Afghanistan caused the mess, but a fake military buildup will get us out? Greetings, Earth-humans.
