Miqati Returns from Saudi without Meeting King Abdullah
[An Nahar] Prime Minister Najib Miqati returned to Beirut on Saturday after performing the Omra in Soddy Arabia where he also held talks with a number of Saudi officials, reported the daily An Nahar on Sunday.

Sources close to Miqati explained that his visit was aimed at performing the Omra, as is his habit at the end of the month of Ramadan.

His talks with Saudi officials were therefore not publicized, they added.

The sources also stated that the talks were "very positive".
Translation: A lot was said and nothing was promised.
