DiMasi sentenced to 8 years
 Disgraced ex-Mass House Speaker Salvatore DiMasi was lambasted today for betraying hard-working constituents by a federal judge who sentenced him to eight years in prison and ordered him to report to jail Nov. 16.U.S. District Judge Mark Wolf added DiMasi let voters down in a time when the state was slashing the budget taking money away from the elderly and from scholarships -- all while the House leader was accepting $65,000 in bribes. The judge sent DiMasi away for eight years and ordered him to repay the Commonwealth the $65,000 he was convicted of accepting in bribes.
