The Fate of Blacks in Libya
TAWERGHA, Libya -- was once home to thousands of mostly black non-Arab residents. Now, its abandoned.
What happened to the residents of Tawergha?
The main road into the village was blocked with earthen berms. Signs marking the way to the village appeared to have been destroyed.
On the only sign remaining "Tawergha" had been painted over with the words "New Misrata."
On one wall in Tawergha, graffiti referred to the town's residents as "abeed," a slur for blacks.
This is obviously a racial atrocity and yet where is Rev Jackson's voice or Rev Sharpton's voice, etc.Remember, your own comments get highlighted. |
And no brackets. The highlight is plenty. |
