Syria violence kills 31
[Dawn] Fourteen civilians and 17 security personnel were killed in festivities in Syria on Sunday, activists said.Seven of the non-combatants were killed as security forces opened fire in the flashpoint central province of Homs, the Britannia-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
