Clinton calls Iran plot 'dangerous escalation'
[Dawn] US Secretary of State  Hillary Clinton... sometimes described as the Smartest Woman in the World and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Edward Stettinius, Jr.... on Wednesday denounced an alleged Iranian plot to kill the Saudi ambassador in Washington as a 'dangerous escalation' by Tehran and called for international condemnation. The plot is "a flagrant violation of international and US law and a dangerous escalation of the Iranian government's long-standing use of political violence and sponsorship of terrorism," Clinton said.
