Blast kills 3 Afghans
[Bangla Daily Star] Three non-combatants were killed and three others including a woman and child maimed when their vehicle hit a roadside kaboom in eastern Afghanistan yesterday, police said.The bomb was planted under a bridge in Alingar district of Laghman province before it destroyed a civilian van, provincial police chief Abdul Rahman Sarjang told AFP. Roadside bombs are frequently planted by cut-throats but there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
