Today's Darwin - 12,000 Volt Security System
 Authorities say they believe a man found dead near an electrical transformer in Palm Springs was tampering with equipment when he was electrocuted."here, hold my beer" BZZZZZT Palm Spring police Sgt. Kovaleff tells the Palm Springs Desert Sun that Southern California Edison workers found the body Saturday afternoon when they were checking the reason for a brief power disruption. The Riverside County coroner hasn't released the man's name yet. Mr. Burns Kovaleff says it appears the man was trying to steal copper wire from the 12,000-volt transformer before he was killed.
