Three policemen killed in Hangu
[Pak Daily Times]  Three coppers and an outlaw were killed and two cops injured during an encounter in the limits of the Doaba cop shoppe on Monday, district police said. The shootout started after kidnappers fired a volley of bullets at a mobile police party when the latter asked them to surrender to a search. As a result, coppers Sabir Gul, Abdul Khaliq and Raja Akhtar Khan and an outlaw were killed. Two other coppers also sustained injuries in the encounter, which continued for half an hour.
