Egypt indicts two Israelis for weapons smuggling
An Egyptian newspaper reported Monday that Egypt’s Public Prosecution Office indicted two Israeli Arabs and one Ukrainian for smuggling weapons from Israel into Egypt. According to Egypt’s Seventh Day newspaper, the three are charged with smuggling weapons, bullets and artillery. One of the weapons smuggled was Israeli-made, while several others are the kind used by Egyptian security forces.

According to the report, one of the suspects is an Israeli Arab from Kfar Kara, who was caught inside a wooden crate while attempting to smuggle the weapons through the Taba Crossing, south of Eilat. He is currently being held alongside a Ukrainian citizen in Egypt. The other indicted Israeli is outside of Egypt.
