Gilani rules out resignation
[Pak Daily Times]  Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Wednesday ruled out his resignation, saying he was representative of 180 million people of Pakistain and his resignation was no ordinary matter like a reshuffle in the cabinet."Cabinet reshuffle is a routine matter, my resignation is not," Gilani declared, while talking to the media after a ceremony. Replying to a query about contempt of court proceedings against him, the prime minister said the case was being heard in the Supreme Court that would decide the matter according to the law. He also brushed aside the perception that his trial was causing political instability, saying his trial in the Supreme Court was in no way causing any such issues.
