9-11 thugs were also involved in Cole attack
WASHINGTON (AP) - Some of the terrorists involved in the Sept. 11 attacks in the United States also took part in the attack on the USS Cole a year ago in Yemen and the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings in Africa, Bush administration officials said as the government laid out its case against Osama bin Laden. The officials said this was a key point in a presentation made to NATO allies Tuesday in Brussels as the administration sought to make the case that Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaida associates were behind the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
