SCAF says it is going to end Egypt's state of emergency after 31 years
[Iran Press TV]  Egypt's ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) says it's putting an end to the state of emergency in the country after it has been in force for 31 years.SCAF said the state of emergency, which has been in place without interruption since the assassination of President Anwar Sadat in 1981, is due to expire at midnight on Thursday.
