Israel Fires On Beirut Base
Israeli warplanes today fired four missiles at what Israel describes as a Palestinian guerrilla base south of Beirut. A Lebanese security source says the attack on Naameh village aimed at an area in which a radical Damascus-based group, the Peopleâs Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command, has a large base. A Palestinian source says there were no casualties as the base was abandoned some time ago.
