Judge Killed, 4 Civilians Injured in Blast at Uruzgan Mosque
[Tolo News] A provincial judge was killed and four civilians were maimed in a kaboom at a mosque in southern Uruzgan province on Monday morning.

The incident happened in Tarin Kowt, the bustling provincial capital of Uruzgan. The judge was identified as Taj Mohammad, provincial police chief Farid Hayeel said.

"A bomb had been placed inside the mosque," Mr Hayeel said.

in connection with the incident but the police have started an investigation, according to Mr Hayeel.

No group including the Taliban has grabbed credit for the blast.

Australian forces handed over the responsibility for providing security in all of Uruzgan to Afghan troops on July 17 as part of the third phase of national security transition.
