Undercover agent killed in southern Thailand
A military intelligence agent was slain in an ambush in Pattanis Saiburi district on Friday morning.Witnesses said that Muhammad Korsafee, 28, was heading home on his motorcycle when gunmen hiding in roadside trees fired on him with M16 and AK47 assault rifles. The victim fell on the road and the gunmen came out to shoot him again at close range. The attackers then stole his 9 mm pistol and his money before fleeing. Muhammad was a local businessman who was also serving as an intelligence agent of a special military unit in Pattani. Police blamed separatist
