FBI investigated congressional skinny dipping in Israel
h/t Gates of ViennaThe FBI launched an investigation after Republican congressmen on a fact-finding mission to the Holy Land took part in a late-night skinny-dip in the Sea of Galilee, it has emerged. Several prominent politicians and their families joined in the after-dinner swim, prompting concerns among American law enforcement officials that compromising behaviour might have occurred. Kevin Yoder, a Kansas Republican, admitted stripping off and jumping in alongside clothed colleagues such as Ben Quayle, the Arizona congressman and son of former vice-president Dan Quayle. "I followed some Members of Congress in a spontaneous and very brief dive into the sea and regrettably I jumped into the water without a swimsuit," Mr Yoder told Politico, the political website, which disclosed details of the incident.
