6 Injured in Balkh Police Headquarters Blast
[Tolo News] At least six people, including an Afghan soldier, were maimed in a kaboom near police headquarters in northern Balkh province on Monday.
The kaboom happened Monday morning in the capital of the province Mazar-e-Sharif, when a remote bomb placed in a bicycle went
kaboom! in the area, the head of 303 Pamir Corps in northern Afghanistan Lal Mohammad Ahmadzai told TOLOnews.
"Five civilians including women, children and an Afghan soldier were maimed in the blast. Police have started investigating the incident," he said.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital in the city, he said.
Officials in Balkh hospital confirmed that six people were maimed and were being treated in the hospital.
No group including the Taliban has grabbed credit for the blast.
