Five terrorists killed in Kazakhstan
 Five alleged terrorists have been killed and one severely wounded during an antiterrorism operation in western Kazakhstan's Atyrau region.Security forces and police began the operation September 12 aimed at detaining a group of Local officials said there were no casualties among civilians or security forces. According to officials, the group was involved in a bombing near a mosque in the city of Atyrau last week which killed one person. Western Kazakhstan has seen several antiterrorist operations against religious extremists and alleged terrorists in recent days. The first ever suicide bombing in Kazakhstan happened in May last year in the western city of Aqtobe. Three men were wounded in that bombing. Posted by: ryuge 2012-09-13 |
