Villager gunned down in southern Thailand
A villager was killed in a drive-by shooting in Pattani province on Friday morning.Witnesses said that Somchit Thongna, 34, his wife and young daughter were travelling on a motorcycle along the Pattani-Yala road when a gunman on another motorcycle fired at him. The assailants then fled. Somchit was shot in the head and died on the spot. His wife and seven-year-old daughter were slightly wounded when they fell from the motorcycle.
