Military exercises to be staged in Iranian province Shahr-e-Rey
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) will hold 15,000-man strong maneuver in Shahr-e-Rey district of Tehran Province for two days from September 27-28, commander said on Sunday.IRGC Commander in charge of the operations, General Nasiri told IRNA that some 70 `Beit-ul-Moqaddas' battalions will take part in the exercise, code-named 'Followers of Supreme Jurisprudent' (Rahrovan-e Velayat). The commander said that the exercises aim to raise combat readiness of the ground forces. He said that the troops will conduct shooting, night war, relief and rescue operations.
