Militia of tribal sheikh throws child from house roof
[Yemen Post] Militia of a tribal sheikh, Mohammad Ahmed Mansour, threw on Tuesday a four-year child from a house roof, local sources affirmed.

A four-member militia threw the child after his father, Abul-Hamid Saeed, refused to pay illegal taxes to the sheikh of al-Jaashin district of Ibb.

The sources said Mansour who is notorious for his cruelty and violating human rights
...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions...
is used to impose illegal taxes on local, emphasizing that those who refuse to pay are brutally punished by the militia of the sheikh.

The sources said the militia pursued Abdul-Hamid and when he escaped, they stormed his house and threw his child from the house roof.

Locals of al-Jaashin staged a protest before the compound of Ibb governorate on Wednesday, demanding the Interior Minister and Ibb's governorate to halt violations practiced by al-Jaashin's sheikh.

They appealed to the civil society organizations to quickly move to put an end to such violations that breach all local and international conventions.

Several parliamentary panels were formed to probe into violations committed by Mansour, but they failed to arrive to al-Jashin as militias of Mansour prevented them.

The displaced persons of Al-Jaashin organized many demonstrations before the parliament and government, demanding to help them returns their homes and halt infringements of Mansour, but the government did nothing to their case.

In last April, they protested in front of President Abdurabu Mansour Hadi
...the second and possibly the last president of Yemen, successor to former President-for-Life Ali Abdullah Saleh...
's residency, requesting to prosecute Mansour and hold him accountable.
