A journalist 'executed' in Mogadishu, the Fifth killed this month
(Sh.M.Network)--Locals say a dead body of Somali journalist was found Thursday in Mogadishu's northern restive and volatile Huriwa district, the fifth journalist to be murdered in Somalia's capital this month.

Abdirahman Mohamud Ali, an online journalist worked for Somali owned website has been beheaded and dumped at a street in northern Mogadishu on Thursday by unknown executioners, according to witnesses.

"We shocked and terrified the slaughter of the journalist, because of the executioners put the knife they carried out the action on the body after beheading him unkindness," said a local resident who spoke with Shabelle Media Network under anonymity.

Somali authorities have yet to speculate on who was behind the killing. Late Farhan is the fifth journalist killed in Mogadishu this month alone.

No group has claimed the responsibility of the murder.

Somalia is now the most dangerous country to be a journalist in the world.
Somalia is the most dangerous country to be most anything in the world, except maybe pirate, and they aren't doing so well...
Targeting of journalists in Somalia has increased, and authorities have made nothing to protect media workers.
