AMISOM says it captured executioners in Mogadishu

Addressing journalists at a presser held in Mogadishu on Thursday, the AMISOM front man said they have managed successfully to detain a number of youths alleged to have carried out in the past wave of deadly bombings and hit and run attacks in Mogadishu. "Mogadishu security is improving slowly and life is returning to normal. AMOSOM and Somali forces are launching joint military operations to restore the overall city's security and protect those want to destabilize Mogadishu," he said. Answering a question which Shabelle asked him about the whereabouts of the Kenyan soldier that 'massacred innocent Somali civilians' in Jana-abdala last September, he said: " he was fired from the army by a military tribunal that has also sentenced the soldier in jail terms."
