Armed men attack bus in Kurram; three injured
 [Dawn] Unknown gunnies attacked a bus in the Kurram tribal region on Tuesday injuring at least three passengers.The region's political administration said the bus, which was heading from Parachinar towards Beautiful Downtown Peshawar ...capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (formerly known as the North-West Frontier Province), administrative and economic hub for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Peshawar is situated near the eastern end of the Khyber Pass, convenient to the Pak-Afghan border. Peshawar has evolved into one of Pakistan's most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities, which means lots of gunfire. and was carrying 20 passengers, was attacked with rockets and automatic weapons. The injured passengers were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Tull for treatment, whereas, security forces had surrounded the area and had started a search operation. Kurram is one of the seven Pashtun tribal regions in Pakistain on the Afghan border, an area widely considered the headquarters of Al Qaeda bully boyz and their allies.
