McBee steeled himself outside the door of the cheap hotel room. Inside was the "Fatal Femme." The very sight of her seminude curves had caused strong men to keel over from stroke. Her kisses were known to melt tongues.
He took a deep breath and reached for the knob. "Alright, Lover Boy," he chided himself. "Do your stuff!"
(Sh.M.Network)-- Somali official has narrowly escaped from an assignation plot aimed to take his life overnight by unknown gunmen in the volatile town of Afgoye, some 30 Kilometres north-west Mogadishu, reports said.
Local sources told Shabelle Media Network by phone from Afgoye that assailants armed with AK47 and pistols have tried to assassinate Mohamud Elmi Arabey, an official in Lower Shabelle region administration for Somali government.
"Al shabab elements have ventured last night to storm into my residential house in Afgoye district to eradicate me, but my security guards fended them off from the area and I was unhurt in the attack," the official told Shabelle Media Network by phone.
The attack is the latest in series of violent assaults against Somali government officials and security forces since the district fell to government soldiers and AMISOM forces early this years following a week-long offensives against Al shabab.
