US embassy security chief gunned down in Yemen
Qassem Aqlani, the Yemeni head of security at the US embassy in Sanaa, was gunned down by motorcycle gunman on way to work. Aqlani had been working there for nearly 20 years.
A US diplomat said Aqlan was in charge of coordinating a US and Yemeni probe into an attack on the embassy last month by protesters angry over an anti-Islam film that triggered a wave of deadly demonstrations across the Muslim world. Posted by: ryuge 2012-10-11 |
