Man killed, wife, sister injured in southern Thailand
A scrap-rubber trader was killed and his wife and younger sister seriously injured by a gunman in Narathiwat province on Monday morning.The attack occurred about 9:50 a.m. on a roadside in a rubber plantation. Witnesses said that while Nase Uma and his wife Ropi-a Mading and younger sister Karatini Uma were sorting scrap rubber they had bought, two men arrived on a motorcycle and the pillion rider shot Nase one time in the head with an AK47 rifle, killing him on the spot.
