Nigerian troops kill three Islamists in restive north
 [Daily Nation (Kenya)] Nigerian troops have killed three Boko Haram... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... Islamists and recovered arms and ammunition in a crackdown on the group in the restive northeastern city of Maiduguri, the military said Wednesday. Military front man Sagir Musa said government troops lost one soldier with one injured and tossed in the slammer Please don't kill me! 31 suspects during the offensive against the bully boy group in the Bulabulin Ngarnam area of the city on Tuesday. "In an exchange of fire, one soldier was killed, one injured and one immigration personnel missing in action," he said. "Three Boko Haram bad boyz were potted, 31 suspected Boko Haram gunnies were arrested, one AK-47 rifle, one G3 rifle and some quantity of assorted magazines and ammunitions were recovered," he added.
