Firefighters ambushed responding to WNY blaze
The residents of Lake Road, on a small peninsula at the mouth of Irondequoit Bay, woke up this morning to hell, hell on Christmas Eve. Volunteer firefighters from West Webster and Webster (NY) responded to the report of a house fire at 5:45 a.m. On arrival, they were ambushed and four firefighters were shot.
