Powell defends Clinton, rips GOP as racists
On today's Meet The Press, Powell defended Clinton's role in the lead up to and response after the Benghazi attack, and the Republican conceded the situation in Benghazi "could've happened to anyone."Then the "anyone" should be held responsible. Powell added: ""I think she's had a distinguished record ... And I don't think that this one incident -- which is one of these things that those of us in government have been through many, many times where suddenly an action happens late at night ... I don't think it's a blot on her record." He "thinks" she's had a distguished record. He "thinks" one incident shouldn't matter. He "thinks" it shouldn't be a blot on her record.
