MNLF: We will keep trying to free foreign hostages
A Muslim insurgent leader says hundreds of his armed fighters will continue their efforts to free foreign hostages held by the Abu Sayyaf in the southern Philippines despite a battle last week that killed dozens of combatants on both sides.Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) Chairman Nur Misuari said that he ordered his men to re-evaluate their plans in the aftermath of the Feb. 3 battle but to resume efforts meant to secure the safe release of several hostages in Sulu province.
