Libya rebels end sit-in
[MAGHAREBIA] Libyan politicians on Tuesday (March 5th) returned to the national assembly building in Tripoli...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... after a month-long occupation. Assembly members "took possession of the premises after an agreement was struck with the former rebels", official news agency LANA reported. Veterans of the revolution had been occupying the General National Congress (GNC) hall since February 3rd. The sit-in forced assembly members to meet in a nearby hotel.
