Car bomb kills unspecified number of people in Damascus
[Iran Press TV] A roadside bomb has exploded in the Syrian capital Damascus leaving an unspecified number of people killed and injured, a report says.The bomb, which had been affixed under a car, went off in the district of al-Halbouni in central Damascus late on Monday, Xinhua reported. The people who were in the car were all killed in the explosion. Earlier in the day, at least two people were killed and several others injured after foreign-backed militants fighting against the government targeted Umayyad Square in Damascus.
