Col. (res.) Benny Michelson, who was the head of the IDF history department, said today that in order to maintain the army's achievements vis-a-vis Palestinian terrorism, it is necessary to reinstate military rule in Judea, Samaria and Gaza. Michelson explained to Arutz-7 his view that Yasser Arafat and his gang, as well as the Egyptians and the Europeans, do not intend to provide the Arabs of Yesha with basic services. "Only the IDF is able to do so," said Michelson, "and this will change the conditions that have created an ideological hothouse for terrorism.
