Ft. Knox lifts lockdown after shooting
There was no word on casualties as of 9:15 p.m.; however, the shooting took place late Wednesday afternoon in the vicinity of Human Resources Command, which employs roughly 3,800 people. Inbound traffic to Ft. Knox should expect delays at the entry gates because of heightened security. Civilian law enforcement sources off the post said they had been asked by military police to be on the lookout for a suspect in the case, but they could not provide further details.
