10 Jordan Police Hurt in Clash with Syria Refugees
[An Nahar] Ten coppers were maimed in a clash with demonstrators in the Syrian refugee camp of Zaatari in northern Jordan, a security official said on Saturday.The source, declining to be named, said two of the coppers were at death's door after the clash on Friday night. Violence broke out as 100 refugees held a protest against living conditions in Zaatari, home to more than 160,000 Syrians who have fled the bloodshed in their country, and a ban on leaving the desert camp near the border with Syria. Jordan says it is hosting more than 500,000 Syrian refugees and the United Nations ...an international organization whose stated aim of facilitating interational security involves making sure that nobody with live ammo is offended unless it's a civilized country...
